On the morning of September 27, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Vo Huu Tran, Principal of Trung Hieu Secondary School (Vung Liem district, Vinh Long ), said that he had reported the incident of a male student being "beaten up" to the authorities; at the same time, he asked the Vung Liem district police to investigate and handle the case.
Mr. Vo Huu Tran added that the beaten male student suffered soft tissue injuries and had to be hospitalized for treatment. He has now been discharged and is recuperating at home. The school is coordinating with relevant agencies to visit and encourage the student and verify and handle those involved.

Recently, a 3-minute clip has been circulating on social media, recording a group of 8th graders beating their classmates with helmets, brooms, wooden chairs... and stomping on their heads multiple times.
The whole incident was witnessed by many students, who cheered, and another student used his phone to record it.

After the clip went viral, initial information said the incident happened on the afternoon of September 23 in class 8/1 of Trung Hieu Secondary School (Vinh Long).
At that time, more than 4 8th grade students from the same school used helmets, brooms, plastic chairs... to attack a male student who was sitting huddled on a chair against the wall of the classroom. One student jumped up and kicked the male student repeatedly in the head, while others held chairs and helmets and beat him repeatedly, causing the victim to hold his head and endure the beating, not daring to fight back.
