On August 2, Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with Xuan Thoi Son Commune Police to extract camera footage, identify the identity of the young man who "disturbed public order" and proceed to investigate and handle the case.
Previously, social networks (facebook) posted a clip recording images of a traffic collision on Le Quang Dao Street between a truck and a motorbike driver.

A young man riding a motorbike dressed as a motorbike taxi driver stopped his vehicle on the road to block a truck, then used insulting words and attacked the truck driver. Not stopping there, the young man also used an iron rod to smash the truck before leaving. The clip above caused outrage in public opinion, with many people reacting to the motorbike driver's disregard for the law.
Mr. N.D.T. (born in 1996), the driver of the van that was vandalized, said that on the afternoon of August 1, when Mr. T. was driving near the intersection of Le Quang Dao - Nguyen Van Bua, to avoid a technology car, he almost crashed into a motorbike. Nothing happened, but the motorbike rider aggressively rushed towards him, leading to an argument.
This young man ran into a junk yard, picked up a long glass light bulb and attacked Mr. T. and the bus assistant. After being stopped by everyone, this man opened the trunk, took out an iron rod and smashed Mr. T.'s car before leaving.
The incident caused traffic chaos at the intersection.
