Currently, the district is implementing tasks according to Plan No. 03-KH/BCĐ dated April 16, 2025 of the Steering Committee for implementing the project to rearrange and reorganize commune-level administrative units in Hanoi city.

Deputy Secretary of the Nam Tu Liem District Party Committee Lam Quang Thao said that today, April 19, the district focused on directing and guiding the People's Committees of the wards to establish a group to collect people's opinions and organize meetings to deploy the group's tasks. After that, organize to collect people's opinions in the form of distributing opinion forms directly to household representatives, to be completed no later than April 21, 2025. Next, synthesize people's opinions, prepare content to submit to the District People's Council meeting to issue a resolution approving the policy to implement the plan to rearrange the wards and synthesize, report the results of collecting people's opinions, the results of the District People's Council meeting, and report to the City People's Committee no later than April 26, 2025.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee Lam Quang Thao said that the spirit of the district is to act urgently and seriously, in accordance with the direction of the Central Government and Hanoi City. The process of rearranging the ward level does not interrupt the tasks being implemented, does not affect the transactions and normal work of people and businesses.
