Accordingly, the City People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to continue to synchronously and effectively implement measures to manage, operate and stabilize prices according to their functions, tasks, localities, branches and management fields.
The City People's Committee also requested to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in state management of prices; focus on building and perfecting methods of receiving and processing price declaration information in the electronic environment, through forms such as online public services, price database software, electronic declaration systems, etc. to ensure feasibility, convenience, and ease of access for organizations and enterprises to fulfill their price declaration obligations according to regulations.
Regularly update information into the city's price database, ensuring timeliness, completeness and synchronization; strengthen connection and data sharing among relevant agencies and units to serve the effective management, forecasting and control of market prices.
Continue to strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with price laws, ensuring that relevant agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals strictly implement current regulations; enhance transparency, publicity and responsibility in production and business activities.
Timely detect, prevent and strictly handle according to the law violations such as: Incorrectly declaring selling prices, not declaring prices to competent state agencies; not posting prices or posting unclear prices, causing confusion for consumers; selling goods and providing services at prices higher than declared, posted prices or prices decided by competent authorities.
City departments and branches continue to direct, assign, and guide the authority and responsibility of units and organizations responsible for formulating price plans and organizing price plan appraisals according to regulations; review, handle or advise competent authorities to handle legal documents on prices that are no longer suitable according to the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and the Law on Prices.
The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall review the current tasks performed by the People's Committees at the district level related to state management of prices, as a basis for developing plans and handing over to the receiving units in the process of converting to a two-level local government model.
