Do you remember 10 years ago, at Miss Vietnam 2014, Ky Duyen surpassed many outstanding contestants such as Pham Huong, Khanh Van, Nam Em, Khanh Ngan to be crowned at only 18 years old.
How are these beauties now?
Khanh Van
Nguyen Tran Khanh Van competed in Miss Vietnam 2014 when she was only 19 years old. However, 5 years later, she competed in Miss Universe Vietnam 2019. Surpassing Kim Duyen and Thuy Van, the beauty was officially crowned.
After that, Khanh Van was selected to compete in Miss Universe 2020. The beauty entered the top 21 finalists thanks to the highest number of votes in the contest.
Currently, the beauty opens a model training class, attends events, and is a brand representative. She is about to get married to her boyfriend who is 17 years older than her and works as a photographer.
Pham Huong
Pham Huong also participated in Miss Vietnam 2014 but stopped in the top 10.
A year later, she was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2015, representing the country in Miss Universe 2015. However, the beauty did not make it into any of the top contestants that year.
During her tenure, Pham Huong was one of the top beauties of Vietnamese showbiz, in demand for advertising and as a coach for many competitions.
In mid-2018, Pham Huong withdrew from showbiz, went to the US to give birth, and started her own family, but was caught up in many scandals. Currently, she has 2 sons, and the beauty still has no intention of returning to showbiz.
Nam Em
Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em competed in Miss Vietnam 2014 when she was just 18 years old. She then continued to challenge herself and was crowned Miss Mekong Delta 2015 (later she was crowned Miss Mekong Delta because the contest was upgraded from beauty queen to beauty queen). In 2016, Nam Em represented Vietnam in Miss Earth and entered the top 8.
Nam Em returned to Miss World Vietnam 2022, but she only made it into the top 10 finalists thanks to the highest number of votes.
After the beauty contests, Nam Em ventured into singing and acting. However, she received more attention because of her love scandals. Nam Em has now withdrawn from showbiz after a scandal over her careless statements. She was once punished for making incorrect and uncontrolled statements.
Khanh Ngan
After failing at Miss Vietnam 2014, Do Tran Khanh Ngan competed in several other contests. Among them, she was in the top 15 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2015.
Two years later, the beauty was crowned Miss Tourism 2017. She was nominated to compete in the international beauty pageant Miss Globe 2017 and won the highest title.
She is also the runner-up of The Face Vietnam 2016 of Pham Huong's team.
After her term as Miss Globe ended, Khanh Ngan retired. She occasionally appeared at some events as a guest or judge.
