Mansory has modified many new-generation Mercedes-AMG G63s over the past few years; however, most of them belong to the second generation (W463), meaning they were produced from 2018 to 2024. The W465 version, also known as the upgraded version, introduced almost a year ago, is very rare. The G63 featured in this article also belongs to the first generation, and this project, known as the Mansory Gronos P850, boasts 900 horsepower, not 850 horsepower as the name suggests. Torque reaches 885 pound-feet (1,200 Nm), and this figure is even higher than the standard G-Wagen version.
Data released by tuning company Mansory a few years ago showed that this Gronos P850 SUV is about 1 second faster than the standard Mercedes-AMG G63, which is hard to believe considering the G63 needs 4.2 seconds to reach that speed. This means the Mansory Gronos P850 modified to resemble a Mercedes-AMG G63 completes the acceleration period in 3.2 seconds, allowing it to outperform super SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus Performante.
The car is painted in Portland Grey and features an extended body kit, a new hood, a backlit logo, an illuminated grille, a new spare wheel cover, roof rails, and new FD.15 wheels, reportedly taken directly from the tuning company's product catalog.
This Mansory-tuned Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV boasts a completely custom interior, combining snow-white with royal blue accents. The car also features several blue carbon fiber details, with Mansory logos adorning the dashboard handles, steering wheel, seatbacks, headrests, seatbelts, door panels, and other components. This special Mansory Gronos P850 also features seating for four people in individual seats, a starry sky-patterned headliner, and an upgraded interior lighting system. According to the sales listing, this Mercedes-AMG G 63 has traveled the equivalent of 5,512 miles (8,870 km) and was first registered in December 2022.
The car has an average fuel consumption of 20.1 l/100 km, meets Euro 6d-Temp emissions standards, and is said to be one of only 10 cars produced in this configuration (Mansory Gronos P850). This Mansory Gronos P850 is currently in Europe and is only sold on the export market, so its price is very expensive, reaching €585,000 (equivalent to $685,500 - approximately 17.8 billion VND) at the time of writing.
