Principal Dang Thi Hong Nhung said that after the storm, the school and parents quickly overcame the consequences, inspected the damage and made the most of the repairable facilities to soon stabilize teaching and student care.
At Quang Trung Primary School, Ha Giang 2 Ward. Many classrooms and teaching equipment were severely damaged, many books and student belongings were swept away by the flood, and cannot be repaired overnight.
Principal Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet said that after completing the cleaning work, the school will survey the extent of damage to students' books and make a list to report to the Department of Education to ask for support from other schools. In case of lack of books, the school will make temporary photocopies to ensure students' learning.
Immediately after the flood receded, along with infrastructure repairs, general environmental cleaning, and damage statistics, the education sector of Tuyen Quang province is also mobilizing social resources to support books, clothes, and school supplies for students.

“Recently, we have mobilized local authorities and unaffected schools to support the cleaning of facilities and equipment for schools in difficulty. In the coming time, the Department will review all schools in the province, especially those that have suffered heavy damage, to have timely support plans.”
There are still many schools in Tuyen Quang province struggling to overcome the consequences of the storm and flood. In order for students' learning to not be interrupted, the Education Department of Tuyen Quang province and teachers and students of schools in the flood-affected areas need the cooperation and support of all levels, sectors and benefactors.
