Practically celebrating the 29th anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day (October 24, 1995 - October 24, 2024), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized Binh Thuan Tourism Week 2024, taking place from October 24 - 27 at Bikini Beach Square NovaWorld Phan Thiet (Lac Long Quan Street, Tien Thanh Commune, Phan Thiet City).

Organizing Tourism Week aims to honor and promote local specialties, famous dishes, OCOP products, contributing to strengthening the promotion, advertising, and introducing the image of destinations, products, culinary tourism services to the people and tourists. At the same time, strengthening exchanges and cooperation between localities in the province, provinces and cities nationwide in introducing regional culinary specialties, attracting tourists to Binh Thuan through introducing and promoting the image, cultural values and unique tourism products of Binh Thuan ; at the same time, strongly promoting the connection in tourism development between localities.

Binh Thuan Tourism Week 2024 includes many attractive and unique activities. The opening of the Tourism Week is a space to display and promote tourism products, cuisine, regional specialties, OCOP products of Binh Thuan and provinces and cities nationwide, with more than 50 booths taking place from October 24 to 27. The highlight of the Tourism Week is the Binh Thuan Delicious Food Contest taking place on the afternoon of October 26. There will be 30 teams of chefs working at restaurants, hotels, resorts in Binh Thuan province and chefs from a number of provinces and cities participating with dishes made from Binh Thuan's specialty ingredients.

Within the framework of the Binh Thuan Delicious Food Contest, for the first time, the Binh Thuan Professional Chefs Association organized an introduction and demonstration of cooking the dish Lau Tha to serve 100 diners at the same time, and the Dong Nai Province Chefs Association performed the cooking of the dish Fried Sticky Rice. On this occasion, the Vietnam Records Institute will organize the announcement and award the Asian Record certificate for the Phan Thiet Lau Tha dish and honor the Golden Chef of 2024, including 4 chefs from Binh Thuan.

Participating in introducing and promoting tourism products at Binh Thuan Tourism Week are the provinces of Lao Cai, Hoa Binh, Nghe An, Thua Thien - Hue, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Long An, Soc Trang, etc. In addition to participating in displaying and introducing products, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai also coordinated with the Dong Nai Tourism Association to organize the Dong Nai Tourism Promotion Conference in Binh Thuan on the morning of October 25 at the NovaWorld Phan Thiet Hall. Along with introducing and promoting the image of the destination, at the Conference, the Tourism Association and tourism businesses of the two provinces of Binh Thuan and Dong Nai will exchange, discuss, and sign a cooperation program to develop tourism, connect tours to bring tourists from Dong Nai to Binh Thuan and vice versa.

During the days of the activities, in addition to the food stalls serving delicious dishes from all three regions of the North - Central - South, at the Bikini Beach Square stage every night there will also be art performances with famous singers and artists. The opening ceremony of the event is expected to take place at 9am on October 24 at the product display space.
