Festival of products and startup projects implemented by students

NDO - "Capital Innovation Festival" 2025 organized by Hanoi Youth Union at Hanoi University of Science and Technology on the afternoon of May 31st featured startup products that have initially generated revenue in the market from 26 student startup teams. The products are evenly distributed across many fields such as education, healthcare, technology, and environment.

The festival is an annual event to promote the pioneering role of the capital's youth in promoting the innovation ecosystem, application of science and technology, digital transformation and creative startups, contributing to building the capital to develop rapidly and sustainably in the digital age.

Representatives of the Central Youth Union, Hanoi Youth Union and ministries, branches and units performed the opening ceremony of the Festival.

The Capital Innovation Festival 2025 continues to affirm the role of youth in promoting science and technology, developing the knowledge economy , connecting domestic and international resources, and gradually building an open and sustainable innovation startup ecosystem in Hanoi with the participation of nearly 1,000 union members, youth, and students.

Thousands of union members, youth and students came to the festival.

Within the framework of the Festival, the "VentureX Demo Day 2025" program took place. VentureX is a 3-month startup incubation and acceleration program to support students in turning their ideas into real products, gradually entering the market.

Delegates visited booths introducing innovative startup products.

The program attracted 141 young people with a passion for startups; successfully incubated 26 startup teams in the fields of education, healthcare, technology, and environment; organized 7 networking and in-depth training sessions between young entrepreneurs and advisors.

Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Tran Quang Hung, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Festival, said: Vietnam is having many vibrant start-up activities, especially competitions and creative playgrounds for young people. However, these activities do not have a seamless mechanism to further support ideas after the competitions and playgrounds close, causing many potential projects to be left unfinished.

Deputy Secretary of Hanoi Youth Union Tran Quang Hung informed about the Festival.

"To truly start a business, there needs to be a comprehensive support model from idea discovery to product development, market research and capital raising. More importantly, that model must operate based on strategic connections between entities in the ecosystem: universities, support organizations, experts, investors, large enterprises and policy agencies," said Mr. Tran Quang Hung.
