National Great Unity Day at the residential area in Phuoc Thanh commune

On the evening of November 9, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thanh commune (Bac Ai) organized the National Great Unity Festival of the inter-residential areas of Ma Nai, Ma Ro, Ma Du, Da Ba Cai, Suoi Lo in 2023. Attending were comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Le, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Pi Nang Thi Thuy, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee.

In recent times, responding to the campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Party, the State and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the community of Phuoc Thanh commune has done many meaningful things such as: Maintaining the beautiful custom of worshiping Uncle Ho's photo attached to the National Altar and displaying the national flag on important national holidays; contributing hundreds of working days to clean up residential areas, clearing sewers and canals, making lamp posts for new rural areas, building "bright-green-clean and orderly" flower streets. Taking advantage of the support policies of the Party, the State and preferential capital for economic development, people in the villages have focused on raising cows, growing cassava and growing fruit trees. In addition, young people in the villages have also proactively sought stable jobs in other localities to send money back to their families to invest in production and livestock. Since then, many typical examples of good economic performance have emerged, striving to become rich. In the past year, the number of poor households in 5 villages decreased by 54 households, accounting for 5.38%; the number of families achieving cultural families was 875 households/1,004 households; 4/5 villages were recognized as cultural villages...

Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts to poor households in the residential area.

Speaking at the festival, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised the achievements of the cadres and people of Phuoc Thanh commune residential area; at the same time, he requested cadres and party members to continue to propagate and mobilize people to comply with the Party's policies, the State's laws and local regulations. Mobilize people to promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, national pride, compete in studying, working creatively, developing production and business, promoting talents and initiatives, helping each other to sustainably reduce poverty, and strive to become rich legitimately. Mobilize people to strengthen self-management, unite to build a cultural life, care foreducation , develop human resources, take care of people's health; build a prosperous and happy family; participate in environmental protection, build a "Bright, green, clean, beautiful" environmental landscape...

On this occasion, comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts to officials and people of the residential areas of Ma Nai, Ma Ro, Ma Du, Da Ba Cai, Suoi Lo, Phuoc Thanh commune; presented 10 gifts to poor households in the residential areas; Leaders of Bac Ai district presented 10 gifts to students in the commune.
