Business Networking Day

(CPV) - The "Business-Student Networking Day at the University of Technology" event helps students explore job opportunities, learn practical professional work experience, and establish a solid career path for the future.

On December 21st, in Hanoi, the School of Technology, National Economics University, organized the Business-Student Networking Day (NCT Job Fair 2024).

The program attracted nearly 1,000 students and more than 30 reputable businesses and organizations from various fields.

In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice Rector of the National Economics University, highlighted the important role of the public sector – businesses and government agencies – in the development of the university's training programs, as well as the role of technology in the economy. Through the NCT Job Fair 2024, the university aims to provide students with the earliest possible access to the labor market, helping them find career paths and acquire the necessary skills. The university highly appreciates the event for creating a practical connection between students and the labor market.

Within the framework of the event, Dr. Nguyen Quang Huy - Rector of the School of Technology, National Economics University, shared about the establishment, structure, and future development direction of the School of Technology, as well as calling on businesses to contribute to the development of the school's training programs. The School of Technology aims to regularly organize career seminars and update professional knowledge to enhance the capacity of lecturers and students. To develop training and meet the requirements of businesses, the School has established research laboratories to promote research activities of students and lecturers and to serve as an effective bridge between the school and businesses.

NCT Job Fair 2024 was organized into two sessions: a Networking Event in the morning and a Workshop in the afternoon. The Networking Event was where businesses met, exchanged ideas, and provided direct consultations with students. It was also where students asked questions about careers, received advice on professional skills, and submitted job applications to businesses. In the afternoon, students could participate in three workshops sharing skills on: Office IT skills, CV writing and job interview skills, and AI usage in the workplace.

Through this event, the School of Technology, National Economics University, hopes to contribute to building a culture of cooperation between businesses and universities, and to ignite a passion for learning in the younger generation. The NCT Job Fair affirms the School of Technology's determination to continuously innovate its educational activities, closely connect with business practices, unleash student potential, and promote business efficiency in the current digital age.
