Spring Job Fair 2025

(Baoquangngai.vn) - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan attended the opening ceremony of the Spring Job Fair 2025 co-organized by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Quang Ngai City People's Committee, Provincial Youth Union, Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board and the province's industrial parks.

The Spring Job Fair of At Ty 2025 was held at Dien Hong Youth Activity Center (Quang Ngai City) on the morning of February 15.

Provincial leaders and departments, branches and sectors cut the ribbon to open the Spring Job Fair of At Ty 2025.

In 2024, the province created new jobs for more than 10,300 workers. In particular, the number of workers working abroad under contracts was 1,218, an increase of 18.5% over the same period in 2023, the highest ever. Thereby, the material and spiritual life of the people is constantly improving, and jobs are increasingly sustainable.

It is forecasted that in 2025, the labor recruitment demand of enterprises in the province will be more than 18,200 workers to meet the production and business needs of enterprises, 4,000 workers higher than in 2024.

Speaking at the Spring Job Fair of At Ty 2025, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan requested sectors, localities, units and enterprises to focus on improving the investment and business environment, enhancing competitiveness, encouraging innovation and start-ups, and accelerating the digital transformation process. Focus on improving capacity and promoting the forecasting of labor demand and vocational training needs of enterprises; invest in developing the Provincial Employment Service Center to effectively perform its role as a bridge between enterprises and workers. Promote and improve the quality of sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad under contracts.

Organize timely implementation of unemployment insurance policies to support workers; at the same time promptly support consulting, vocational skills training, and introduce workers to find new jobs.
Focus on enrollment, promote training, especially in new professions; promote training of highly skilled workers, meet development requirements in all fields and prepare for investment shift trends, contributing to improving labor productivity and economic competitiveness in the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and international integration.

Regularly monitor closely and grasp the labor situation, especially in industrial parks and economic zones, thereby promptly having plans to support businesses to overcome labor shortages and support plans when necessary.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that workers should be bold and confident in communicating with businesses, proactively searching and choosing suitable careers and jobs for themselves. For young people and students, they should regularly learn, cultivate and equip themselves with basic knowledge and skills, the ability to adapt to fluctuations in the job market upon graduation, and gain more experience when approaching the labor market.

The 2025 Spring Job Fair has the participation of 51 enterprises in the province, with diverse recruitment needs at all levels and diverse occupations of job positions, creating conditions for workers, especially unemployed workers, to access information about jobs as well as recruitment opportunities suitable to their abilities.

In addition, the festival also provides information about high-income overseas labor markets such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc. This is also a good opportunity for young workers to access the labor market, thereby learning, cultivating, and equipping themselves with basic skills and knowledge, the ability to adapt to fluctuations in the labor market upon graduation, and gaining experience when accessing the labor market.
