Capital Women's Day applies technology and innovation

In her opening speech, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh said: The program of Women's Day for Science and Technology Application and Innovation 2025 was held on May 17 and 18, with the desire to continue spreading the message about the spirit of women in the capital proactively connecting, approaching, applying science and technology, innovating, creating and developing.

According to Ms. Le Kim Anh, accounting for 50.4% of the population, present in all sectors and areas of social life, Hanoi women have been affirming their important contributions to the development of the capital, including in the fields of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Overcoming many difficulties and challenges, many female intellectuals, businesswomen, students, and workers enthusiastically research and create new materials and products, improve product quality and design, innovate production processes, and protect the ecological environment.

Female artisans are dedicated to their profession, applying technology to enhance products, build brands, and contribute to preserving and promoting cultural values ​​and traditional professions; women in the medical sector apply scientific and technological achievements and high technology in modern medicine to improve diagnostic and treatment capacity, care for and protect public health.

In the agricultural sector, many women boldly apply advanced science and technology, develop high-tech agricultural production chains, ecological agriculture, and adapt to climate change.

“Science, technology and digital transformation have been and are bringing many values ​​to support improving the quality of life of women,” Ms. Le Kim Anh emphasized.

Within the framework of the program, a discussion took place with the theme "Application of technology, innovation - opportunities and challenges for women in the digital age".

Through the sharing and discussion of experts at the seminar, delegates, officials, women's union members and students clearly understood the value of applying science and technology in many fields; proposed solutions to promote the spirit of innovation of women and female students in the capital, contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TU of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

At the program, hundreds of science and technology application products, creative craft village products that bring convenience to women in work and life by 50 female scientists, programmers, female-owned businesses and female students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology were displayed at the Capital Women's Day of Technology Application and Innovation in 2025.
