Nghe An recognizes 4 more new rural communes and 6 advanced new rural communes

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 4355/QD-UBND dated December 26, 2023 on recognizing communes meeting new rural standards for 4 communes: Nghia Tho, Nghia Lac (Nghia Dan) and Thanh Chi, Thanh Thuy (Thanh Chuong).

The Provincial People's Committee also issued Decision No. 4356/QD-UBND dated December 26, 2023 on recognizing communes meeting advanced new rural standards for 6 communes: Nghi Thuan, Nghi My, Nghi Phong, Nghi Xuan (Nghi Loc) and Dien Xuan, Dien Thap (Dien Chau).

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee rewards each commune that reaches the new rural area with a welfare project worth 600 million VND; rewards each commune that reaches the new rural area with a welfare project worth 500 million VND.

Previously, the Provincial Council for Appraisal and Recognition of Communes that have met the new rural standards voted unanimously for these localities to reach the new rural and advanced new rural standards.

Thus, after more than 12 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, up to now, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has issued a decision to recognize 313/411 communes meeting new rural standards, of which 59 communes meet advanced new rural standards and 6 communes meet model new rural standards.
