Nghe An will inaugurate 3 projects to celebrate National Day September 2

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Nghe An province will inaugurate three key projects with a total investment of more than VND 7,300 billion. The three projects include: The coastal road from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An), from Km 7 to Km 76 with a total investment of VND 4,651 billion; the Vinh - Cua Lo road phase 2 with a total investment of VND 1,415.2 billion and Nghe An Oncology Hospital (phase 2) with a total investment of VND 1,259 billion.

Key traffic project to be started on August 19 in Nghe An

To prepare well for the upcoming Inauguration Ceremony, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh and leaders of units, departments, branches, localities, project contractors... have just inspected the actual progress of some of the above key projects.

Specifically, the Coastal Road Project from Nghi Son ( Thanh Hoa ) - Cua Lo (Nghe An) from Km7-Km76 has the scale of a level III plain road, with a length of nearly 60 km. The entire project has 08 bridges, including 05 large bridges: Hoang Mai Bridge with 11 spans of SuperT girders, 514m long; Lach Quen Bridge with 15 spans, 642m long; Cua Thoi Bridge with 20 spans, 887m long; Lach Van Bridge with 17 spans, 755m long, Nghi Quang Bridge with 10 spans of Super T girders, 410m long and 03 small bridges: Tan Long Bridge, Kenh Nha Le Bridge, Nghi Tan Bridge.

Total investment is 4,651 billion VND (of which: Construction 3,202 billion VND, site 933.6 billion VND; reserves and other expenses 515.4 billion VND).

The project is divided into 02 construction packages. Construction package 01, construction of works from Km7+00 - Km48+250 and Tan Long, Kenh Nha Le, Hoang Mai, Lach Quen, Cua Thoi bridges, including 07 contractors. Construction package 02, construction of works from Km48+250 - Km76+00 and Lach Van, Nghi Quang, Nghi Tan bridges, including 02 contractors. Basically, the items will be completed before August 30, 2025.

The total value of implementation is 2,615/2,884 billion VND, reaching 91%. (Construction package 01 implemented 1,595 billion VND/1,762 billion VND, reaching 91%; Construction package 02 implemented 1,019 billion VND/1,121 billion VND, reaching 91%).

Regarding site clearance, 59.82 km/59.91 km of site has been handed over, reaching 99.8%; 0.09 km/4 households remain, of which: Tan Mai Ward remains 0.04 km/01 household; Quynh Phu Commune remains 0.02 km/3 households.

After listening to the leaders of the Department of Construction and localities reporting on the construction progress as well as the remaining difficulties, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the units, especially the forces directly attached to the construction site. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the localities to resolve the problems related to site clearance to complete the entire route; in which, continue to strengthen dialogue, mobilize and persuade people to agree. In case all measures have been fully applied but consensus is still not reached, the local authorities will resolutely handle the situation in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring timely completion, quality and absolute safety.

The Nghe An Oncology Hospital Construction Project (Phase 2) has a total investment of 1,259 billion VND with a scale of 1,000 beds, a group A project, a level 1 project, a project in the North Central region, a key project of Nghe An province. On June 9, 2025, the entire hospital moved to operate at a new facility in Vinh Hung ward, promoting the investment efficiency of the State budget, exceeding the project's progress by about 30 months. This resolved the situation for patients to be examined and treated at the new facility in a timely manner in the conditions of prolonged hot weather in Nghe An, with an average number of inpatients of 1,500, daily examination of 1,000 patients, and monitoring of 10,000 outpatients.

Along with that, the Nghe An Oncology Hospital Construction Project (Phase 2) was chosen to be inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on August 19, 2025. The Director of the Oncology Hospital requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Departments and branches to pay more attention and focus on directing the Investor to complete the work as soon as possible...

Nghe An Oncology Hospital Phase 2 project is about to be inaugurated.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh emphasized that in order to organize the inauguration ceremony to meet the requirements of a solemn, serious, economical ceremony, without affecting the medical examination and treatment process of patients here, he requested relevant departments and branches to coordinate in performing assigned tasks; it is necessary to develop a suitable program scenario.

The Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requested the Hospital to coordinate with Vinh Hung Ward to ensure security and order in the area. The Department of Construction assigned specialized staff to guide and review the records to promptly implement any arising problems; review the procedures to organize acceptance. The Department of Health coordinated with the Department of Construction to re-study the overall perspective of the hospital, ensuring the requirements for facilities to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of the people. The Department of Finance coordinated in the acceptance and settlement work; coordinated with the Department of Health to determine the needs of the remaining stage to register capital. The Department of Agriculture and Environment paid attention to site clearance, environmental work, etc.

The inauguration of Nghe An Oncology Hospital (phase 2) on August 19 once again affirmed the brand of the Oncology Hospital, a forum to bring the image of the hospital and the medical sector to the people. With a sense of responsibility, urgency, with a team of doctors and nurses, with spacious and modern facilities, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that health care will be increasingly improved; making the hospital a bright spot of the medical sector of the province as well as the North Central region.

The inauguration of these projects is part of a series of activities in response to Official Dispatch No. 57/CD-TTg signed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 5, 2025. In order for this special National Day event to take place solemnly and widely, the Government plans to organize groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for major projects nationwide on August 19.
