TPO - 15 outstanding young party members were honored and 14 Youth Union officials received the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024. They are exemplary and outstanding youth union members in all areas of social life in Nghe An province.
On the afternoon of March 20, at the Soviet - Nghe Tinh Museum (Vinh City, Nghe An), Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized a program to honor outstanding young party members; awarded the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024 and awarded the painting contest prize in response to the campaign "Pride of a strip of mountains and rivers" in 2024.
The program is also a practical activity towards the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024) and the 110th anniversary of the birth of hero Ly Tu Trong (October 20, 1914 - October 20, 2024).

Attending the program were Mr. Bui Minh Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth Union's Organizing Committee; Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, along with representatives of the Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and related agencies and units.
The ceremony to commend outstanding young party members is an opportunity to recognize and honor the team of young party members and exemplary Youth Union cadres at all levels; promptly commend, honor and promote typical outstanding young party members, young party members who have promoted the qualities of a party member, set an example, made efforts and were creative in professional work, volunteer activities, inspired the next generations, proactively took on difficult tasks, new tasks, consolidated and developed the Youth Union organization to become stronger and stronger.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Van Luong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union affirmed that, in the past time, the youth of Nghe An province has closely followed the direction of the Central Youth Union Secretariat and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, closely followed the practical situation in the locality, and competed to effectively implement the major revolutionary action movements of the Youth Union. In addition, the youth of Nghe An have proactively taken on new and difficult tasks, actively contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; promoting the pioneering role of the youth in implementing the major policies of the province and programs launched by the Central Youth Union. From that vivid and exciting reality, many outstanding and outstanding youth union members have emerged in all areas of social life. Among them, 15 outstanding young party members and 14 Youth Union officials who won the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024 are typical individuals of the province's youth.

Responding to the Campaign “Proud of a strip of country” launched by the Central Youth Union, in recent times, Youth Union, Association and Team chapters at all levels in Nghe An province have widely deployed propaganda andeducation activities in many rich and diverse forms. After more than 1 month of implementing the contest, there were more than 450 works participating in the grassroots round, more than 80 works participating in the provincial round with a total of more than 400 authors, groups of authors including cadres, teachers, youth union members, students and art enthusiasts participating.

In order to recognize, encourage and reward the authors and groups of authors who have achieved high achievements in the Painting Contest in response to the Campaign "Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers" in 2024, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union decided to award 4 First prizes, 7 Second prizes, 7 Third prizes and 17 Encouragement prizes. The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province also decided to award Certificates of Merit to 16 authors and groups of authors who won First, Second and Third prizes in the contest.
