He recalled images of Vietnam that were deeply imprinted in his childhood memories: "I used to see images of Vietnamese women holding guns and fighting. That aroused my admiration and special affection for your country. Vietnam's strong rise from the ashes of war is a valuable lesson for us in the current Bolivarian revolution."

He said that the Venezuelan people will organize many activities to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, including a special art program "Forever Ho Chi Minh" on May 23 at the Amador Bendayan Theater. The program will bring together songs by the late artist Ali Primera and international works written about Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam.

"I will perform with the Venezuelan National Symphony Orchestra and famous artists such as Gerardo Valentin, David Carpi, combined with the Vietnamese conical hat dance. For me, it is a great honor and happiness to sing about Uncle Ho and Vietnam, the country that we always admire, love and wish to stand side by side on the journey for peace , happiness and prosperity," he said.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Vu Trung My highly appreciated the efforts of artist Ali Alejandro in arranging to attend the online event, despite the time zone difference and the busy schedule of the National Assembly and local election campaign taking place on May 25. At that time, Mr. Ali Alejandro was more than 1,000 km away from the capital Caracas and had to use a mobile broadcasting station to ensure connection.

After the ceremony, artist Ali Alejandro shared with Ambassador Vu Trung My that it was his special affection for President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam that motivated him to both fulfill his political duty and participate in this meaningful event.
