A day has passed, Hirosue Ryoko continues to suffer serious consequences. Specifically, Yahoo Japan revealed on June 15 that 4 brands, Nippon Kimono Holdings, EDWIN, LegalOn Technologies and Kirin beer company, have just announced the termination of contracts and removed advertising images of Ryoko Hirosue.

A financial expert said that Ryoko Hirosue is facing a huge compensation for breach of contract. Her commercial fees are around 30-45 million Yen (210,000-320,000 USD). Thus, the total amount of compensation she has to pay to the four major brands is 140-180 million Yen (996,000-1.2 million USD).

Yahoo Japan believes that the above number is still not enough. Because before the scandal happened, Ryoko was trusted by the brand because of her popularity, clean image and having a model happy family.

Because of this, she holds many long-term contracts with fashion magazines, movies and television shows.

Ryoko has maintained her position as an A-list star in the Japanese entertainment industry for nearly 30 years thanks to her beautiful appearance and quiet personal life.

Previously, on March 14, Bunshun reported on her personal page that actress Ryoko Hirosue admitted to betraying her husband and having an affair with chef Toba. The Japanese beauty wrote a handwritten letter to apologize to her fans and those involved for her thoughtless behavior.

Afterwards, her management company FLaMme sent a warning to the actress and decided to suspend Ryoko Hirosue's artistic activities indefinitely.

According to Nikkan Sport, Ryoko Hirosue had to cancel the filming of a new movie scheduled to take place in mid-June. Initially, the producers planned to film the work in Ryoko's hometown. Most likely, the film crew will cut the role and find a replacement for Ryoko Hirosue.

Weekly Bunshun revealed that the 43-year-old actress is one of the most hated female artists in Japan.

In Japan, cheating in a relationship is unacceptable for any reason. Especially for female artists, the public's view is even more severe.

In early June, Weekly Bunshun reported that Hirosue Ryoko was caught entering a hotel with chef Toba. Since both were married with children, the affair caused a stir in public opinion.

Both men initially vehemently denied the reports, issuing statements warning the media not to fabricate them.

"I know that chef. We didn't have an affair like the media reported, but I don't know how to explain. Both he and I have families. I also have three children. Please respect my privacy," Hirosue once affirmed when the rumor first broke out.

The adultery scandal also pushed the marriage between Ryoko and her husband, actor Jun Izutsu, into crisis.

After Ryoko Hirosue admitted her mistake, Jun Izutsu - the actress's husband - was surrounded by reporters when he went to the store to check on business. He appeared angry and said he would not comment or answer any questions related to his wife's scandal.

According to sources close to the couple, their relationship has reached a stalemate, with many sources speculating about an impending divorce.

Meanwhile, chef Toba Shusaku affirmed that he will end his illicit affair and return to his wife and children to make up for their hurt.

Ryoko Hirosue was born in 1980. She was once known as "the nation's little sister", "the last beautiful girl of the 20th century", "the jade girl of the screen". She is considered one of the national beauty treasures of Japanese showbiz.

There is also a story that in the 90s, every advertising poster with Ryoko's image posted on the street was stolen. At its peak, 112 posters were stolen in three days.

Ryoko is best known to international audiences for her roles in Luc Besson's "Wasabi" and the Oscar-winning Japanese film - Departures (2008).

In her personal life, Ryoko Hirosue married male model Okazawa Takahiro in 2003. After 5 years of marriage and having a son, they broke up. In 2010, the female star remarried artist Jun Izutsu, and had two children, a boy and a girl.

As for Toba Shusaku, he was a J-League trainee and became an elementary school teacher, before pursuing a career in cooking at the age of 31.

Toba currently owns 8 restaurants, with more than 50 employees. His French restaurant once won a Michelin star. He is married with 2 children. He often shares culinary knowledge and cooking art on the media.
