According to Sinchew news on the morning of April 8, the incident occurred after the "jade girl" was involved in a traffic accident. Hirosue is suspected of kicking and scratching the arm of a nurse on duty, causing injury to the victim. The violent act took place while the actress was waiting to be treated at the hospital.

About five hours before the assault, Ryoko Hirosue’s car collided with a large tractor-trailer on the Shin-Tomei Expressway through Kakegawa City. A man who claimed to be her manager was also in the car at the time of the accident but was transferred to another hospital.

Immediately after receiving reports of the assault, police arrested the actress at the hospital to investigate both the assault on medical staff and the traffic accident. Authorities confirmed that she is cooperating with the investigation.
