Earlier, at noon of the same day, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang issued a document requesting units and schools in the area to proactively respond to storm No. 12.

The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang has empowered the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to decide, based on the actual situation in the area, for preschool children, students and trainees to take time off from school when necessary. Vocational training institutions and universities will proactively decide on their school schedules and have plans for online teaching and learning in areas affected by landslides, flash floods or inundation.

The Department requires units to be on duty 24/7, to reinforce schools, check electricity and telecommunications systems, put up warning signs of dangerous areas in low-lying or flooded areas, and move assets and documents to safe locations when necessary.

Schools are advised to regularly update storm information and promptly notify parents, students and teachers to proactively respond safely.
