A representative of TikTok Vietnam said that after 5 livestream sessions, the merchant sold 18,200 orders, reached 81.6 million people, and brought in revenue of 4.2 billion VND.
Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh - representative of TikTok Vietnam said that in the future, the unit will coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City to continue to expand and implement intensive training programs at traditional markets. Experts from TikTok Shop will continue to accompany small traders until everyone is proficient in selling on e-commerce platforms.
Livestream sales sessions at Ben Thanh market with the first "virtual person" in Vietnam appearing on the TikTok Shop platform have attracted millions of views.
