Major Nguyen Manh Huy, an officer at the National Population Data Center, said that around the National Funeral Home there will be 8 checkpoints to serve people registering to visit General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Each checkpoint will have 20 officers and soldiers along with many student volunteers to assist with registration. It is expected that people will be allowed to visit from 6:00 p.m. this afternoon, July 25.

All officials and people who come to pay their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will have their identities verified in two ways: Using a citizen identification card with a chip to scan through a QR code machine or registering via the VneID application. After completing the procedures, people will follow the arrangements of the security department to pay their respects.

In addition, people can also send condolences to the General Secretary's family via the VneID application. All of this data will be collected at the National Population Data Center (C06).
