Contestant Hoang Chau Anh (contestant number 28) from Cao Bang has surpassed other potential candidates to be crowned Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam 2024.
On the evening of January 11, at the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Son Tay town, the final round of the Miss Ao Dai Vietnam Heritage 2024 contest took place.
Vice Chairman of People's Committee Son Tay town Le Dai Thang - Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest said: The contest "Miss Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage" in 2024 aims to honor and spread the image of the beauty of women wearing Ao Dai through each period, elevating Ao Dai to a "cultural product" in diplomacy , cultural development and tourism of Vietnam.
“Promoting the beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai is one of the top priority contents in the “Miss Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage” contest in 2024. At the same time, it is an opportunity for Son Tay town to maximize its potential in promoting, developing the economy, tourism and preserving cultural heritage” - Mr. Le Dai Thang emphasized.
Journalist Nguyen Truong Son - Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association - Head of the Jury affirmed: The contest is a journey to discover and honor the traditional beauty of the Vietnamese ao dai, encouraging love and deep understanding of the national cultural heritage, and at the same time is a platform for contestants to demonstrate their abilities, confidence and intelligence.
In the final night, with convincing answers and impressive performances, surpassing the 30 best contestants of the contest, contestant Hoang Chau Anh (candidate number 28) from Cao Bang was crowned Miss Heritage. Vietnam Ao Dai 2024. The first runner-up of the contest belongs to contestant Do Thu Hien (candidate number 136) from Quang Ninh; the second runner-up belongs to contestant Ha Hong Gam (Thanh Hoa).
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the following subsidiary prizes: Inspiring Beauty; Compassionate Beauty; Best Ao Dai; Media Beauty...; and awarded the two designers Nguyen Hai and Le Hieu who won the award for best national costume design.
The organizers said that after being crowned, the new Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam will represent Vietnam in the Miss Tourism World 2025 contest (the contest will be hosted in Vietnam). The first runner-up will represent Vietnam in the Miss Icon International 2025 contest; the second runner-up will represent Vietnam in the Miss Multinational contest; the third runner-up will represent Vietnam in the Miss Environment contest and the fourth runner-up will represent Vietnam in the Miss Bikini World contest.
