The Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Nhan Dan Newspaper organized the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024) and a Dialogue Forum between the Editor-in-Chief and Party Secretary of Nhan Dan Newspaper with the youth.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association ; Deputy Editors-in-Chief, leaders of the Party Committee, Editorial Board, Departments, Boards, and affiliated Centers, along with hundreds of members of the Youth Unions of Nhan Dan Newspaper, representatives of the Youth Union of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Khanh Binh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Nhan Dan Newspaper, reviewed the 93-year journey of formation and development as well as the pioneering and volunteer role of the Youth Union associated with the task of uniting, gathering andeducating young people under the glorious Party flag.

Along with the youth of the whole country, over the past time, the cadres, union members and youth of Nhan Dan Newspaper have always strived to improve their political qualities, cultivate knowledge, improve their professional skills, be dedicated to their work, and complete all assigned tasks.
Along with political tasks, the youth of Nhan Dan Newspaper are always aware of and strive to seriously and effectively carry out their assigned professional tasks. Many members and youth of Nhan Dan Newspaper have been nominated for major awards such as: National Press Award, National Award for Foreign Information, Press Awards of Central and local ministries, departments and branches.
Political-ideological and traditional education activities are solemnly organized by the Youth Union of Nhan Dan Newspaper on the anniversaries: Founding Day of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Day of the first issue of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Founding Day of the Union, Day of Vietnam Revolutionary Press... to raise political awareness, foster revolutionary ideals, and pride in the glorious traditions of generations of youth.

The "Youth Volunteer" movement continues to be deployed by the youth of Nhan Dan Newspaper in conjunction with peak volunteer campaigns of youth nationwide such as: "Tet for the poor", "Spring on the border - Tet on the islands", "Winter volunteer", "Youth Month", "Summer volunteer youth campaign"...
Youth Union branches strengthen the mobilization of social resources, carry out youth projects and tasks, and social security activities such as participating in new rural construction, mobilizing support for building charity houses, building activity and entertainment venues for children; supporting disadvantaged youth and families with preferential policies, etc.
Within the framework of the ceremony, a Dialogue Forum between the Editor-in-Chief, Party Secretary of Nhan Dan Newspaper and the youth took place. At the beginning of the dialogue, comrade Le Quoc Minh presented a research paper on the opportunities and challenges of our country's press in the flow and development trend of the world press.

Emphasizing factors such as the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), the problem of fake news, the development of a series of modern technologies and devices... comrade Le Quoc Minh noted that this is both a challenge and a great opportunity for the press to develop and optimize.
Sharing his experience in "keeping the fire burning" in journalism among the current young reporters, comrade Le Quoc Minh affirmed that not only journalism, but everyone must be passionate about the path they have chosen. Journalism is a special field. Each article has a certain impact, affecting many people, even at the national and global level. Therefore, in addition to passion, journalists also need to possess many other special factors.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized that the leading role of journalists as well as lighthouse keepers, specifically the spirit of being ready to face challenges and difficulties, being steadfast in the profession, and always upholding the sense of responsibility in all situations.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh and Secretary of the Central Agencies Youth Union Bui Hoang Tung awarded Certificates of Merit to union members and young people with outstanding achievements.
Regarding the question of which formats and genres of journalism will become trends and be favored by readers in the next 10 years, the Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association stated that the trend of developing modern technology is becoming increasingly evident worldwide. Taking the example of things that seemed to be just science fiction in cinematic works, but have now become reality, comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized that the important factors in materializing ideas are awareness, aspiration, belief and determination to pursue and complete the goal to the end.
"Putting those factors into the field of journalism, it can be seen that journalists need to adapt quickly, always be ready to adapt before things happen. Many individuals and units in the journalism industry in our country are currently falling into the trend of "chasing after" instead of preparing and predicting in advance to produce timely journalistic works. This must change," said comrade Le Quoc Minh.
According to comrade Le Quoc Minh, the connectivity between units in a press agency is a mandatory factor, if not a prerequisite, to be able to bring readers high-quality press products. Along with that, the Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper said: in the coming time, the publishing work of the daily Nhan Dan Newspaper publication will have a "new breeze" with strong changes, increasing cohesion in the direction of digital transformation, making the most of modern technology.
