Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Thang - Head of the Board of Directors of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies (BSP) co-chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Manh Tu - Head of the Supervisory Board of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.
Reporting at the conference, Mr. Dao Anh Tuan - Director of the Tay Ninh Provincial Bank for Social Policies Branch said that after 10 years of implementing Directive 40 of the Secretariat, the Provincial Bank for Social Policies Branch has done a good job of advising Party committees and authorities at all levels in effectively implementing social policy credit.
In the period of 2014-2024, capital from the central and local budgets has helped more than 294,000 poor households, near-poor households and policy beneficiaries to borrow capital with an amount of nearly 7,632 billion VND, helping nearly 19,000 households overcome the poverty line and escape poverty sustainably; supporting nearly 19,000 students in difficult circumstances to borrow capital, reducing the financial burden on households; creating stable jobs for more than 67,000 workers; supporting 362 people to borrow to build new houses, repair houses, buy social housing to "settle down"; helping to build 308,000 clean water and sanitation works for rural households.

After 10 years of implementation, it can be affirmed that Directive 40 of the Secretariat has truly come into life, strongly and positively affecting social policy credit activities. The effectiveness of social policy credit is completely consistent with reality, mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political and social system to participate in poverty reduction, ensuring social security... By the end of 2023, the whole province has only 512 poor households.
Speaking at the conference, delegates said that Party committees and authorities at all levels have promoted their sense of responsibility and effectively implemented the policy of mobilizing and allocating local budget capital to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to supplement capital for policy credit programs associated with restructuring production, economic development, education and training, vocational training, job creation, ensuring social security, and sustainable poverty reduction.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tu - Head of the Supervisory Board of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province continue to lead, direct and effectively organize social policy credit, allocate sufficient and timely financial resources towards integrating social policy credit programs in public investment decisions, national target programs and other programs and projects in the socio-economic development plan for the period 2021 - 2030.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung awarded a certificate of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training to Mr. Dao Anh Tuan - Director of the Tay Ninh Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.
The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations continue to pay attention and create conditions for the provincial People's Credit Fund to expand the mobilization of idle capital from agencies and organizations in the province to supplement capital sources for implementing social policy credit programs.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung affirmed that Directive No. 40-CT/TW of the Secretariat has been seriously and promptly implemented by the province. Social policy credit has contributed to preventing and limiting usury and "black credit", making a very important contribution to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction, ensuring political stability, social order and safety, and social security.

To continue to effectively implement Directive No. 40-CT/TW in the province, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels need to identify the task of leadership and direction for social policy credit activities as one of the tasks in the programs and plans, regular activities of Party committees, sectors, localities and units.
On this occasion, the provincial leaders awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals and certificates of merit from the Minister of Education and Training to the Provincial Social Policy Bank for its outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW.
