During her visit to several provinces in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, this afternoon, March 12th, former Politburo member and former Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong offered incense at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the Trieu Phong District Martyrs' Cemetery, and the Le Duan Memorial Area. Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang and Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan, joined the delegation.

At Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and Trieu Phong District Martyrs' Cemetery, former Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong respectfully bowed her head in remembrance and gratitude for the immense contributions of the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed themselves for the cause of national liberation.
The sacrifices of the heroic martyrs symbolize Vietnamese revolutionary heroism; they inspire and encourage comrades and compatriots to move forward to achieve final victory, leading the country to unification, peace, and independence.

Visiting the Le Duẩn Memorial Area in Hau Kien village, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district, the former Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly laid flowers and offered incense to express his gratitude and respect for the outstanding leader of the Party, the excellent disciple of President Ho Chi Minh, and the distinguished son of Quang Tri province who made many important contributions to the cause of national liberation and nation building.
