Nguyen Viet Gia Han scores a 'super product' HIO before the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025

TPO - Just two days before the 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship kicked off, Nguyen Viet Gia Han created a memorable milestone in his career when he scored his first hole-in-one.

Gia Han scored a perfect shot at hole 14 of Ocean Course, FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon. This is the first time this 14-year-old girl has successfully conquered this rare shot, an important milestone in her professional golf journey.

At only 14 years old, Gia Han is already a familiar face at the National Golf Championship, participating for the fourth consecutive time. From the youngest girl in the tournament, Gia Han has gradually asserted her talent and courage, becoming the runner-up in 2024.

This year, with careful preparation with coach Scott Goldie, Gia Han returned with stable form and high confidence.

“This is the first time I have recorded a hole-in-one in my career. I am really happy and it also gives me more motivation to enter the national tournament with the highest determination,” Gia Han shared.

In 2025, Gia Han's performance demonstrated remarkable maturity: winning stage 1 of the Hanoi Junior Tour, making history at the Hanoi Open as the first female golfer to win the professional group after a dramatic play-off, and breaking the Trang An course record at the Hello Spring - Road to Trang An Open.

Right before the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025, Gia Han also had a training trip with the National Golf team, perfecting her techniques and training her mentality.

With this historic hole-in-one, the 14-year-old girl entered the 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship not only with confidence but also with the desire to conquer new milestones in her career.
