Which network has the fastest Internet in Vietnam?

According to i-Speed ​​data, VNPT and Viettel are the two leading network operators in terms of fixed broadband network speed in Vietnam, with VNPT dominating.

i-Speed ​​is an application that measures Internet speed in Vietnam through crowd-sourcing, developed by Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC).

According to i-Speed ​​data, in the first 5 months of 2025, VNPT held the position of the network operator with the fastest fixed broadband speed in the country for 4 months in January, March, April and May.

Viettel had the fastest fixed broadband network in February, while VNPT experienced a month of decline in both download and upload speeds before starting to increase again in March.

Notably, from March to May, the fixed broadband speeds of both networks continuously increased. By May, VNPT had a download speed of 211 Mbps and an upload speed of 153 Mbps. Viettel had a download speed of 203 Mbps and an upload speed of 155 Mbps.

However, Viettel's network latency has been consistently higher than VNPT's in the past 3 months. VNPT has a latency of about 8 milliseconds and Viettel has a latency of about 10 milliseconds.
