Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant achieved revenue of 1.8 billion VND

In February 2025, Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant is expected to produce 540 million kWh, with estimated revenue of VND 950 billion. Thereby, the total commercial electricity output of the plant in the first two months of the year will increase to 986 million kWh, with revenue of about VND 1,831 billion.

Engineers at Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant monitor and operate the control system on monitoring screens, ensuring stable operation of generators.

With the stable operation of both units with a total capacity of 1,200 MW, in the first two months of the year, Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant consumed 986 million kWh, with revenue reaching about VND 1,831 billion, about VND 124 billion higher than the same period in 2024. In the first quarter of 2025, Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant aims to generate 1.58 billion kWh to the national grid, with revenue reaching about VND 2,825 billion.

To soon complete the set goal, Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company will closely follow the direction of Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation, proactively and synchronously deploy technical and operational solutions to ensure the 2 generators operate continuously, safely and stably./.
