Right from the initial planning stage, the factory was designed with a green space ratio that meets the prescribed standards, combined with an open design solution to maximize natural light and ventilation. The factory roof is expected to be equipped with a rooftop solar power system, reducing dependence on traditional power sources and contributing to reducing carbon emissions on-site.

The rainwater collection and reuse system, along with a closed-loop wastewater treatment process, helps save water resources and protect the local environment. Priority is given to building materials that are recyclable, have good insulation, and reduce energy consumption for the entire factory system.

Smart production line – Optimized for green car generation

One of the plant’s distinguishing features is its highly flexible production line, which allows the assembly of different types of vehicles: gasoline, hybrid (SHS) and electric vehicles (EV) on a single integrated system. This saves space, optimizes operations and, most importantly, minimizes waste generation during the technology conversion process.

All equipment and technology are selected based on the criteria of high efficiency - low energy consumption. The application of smart management technology, energy management according to international standards and high automation helps the factory maintain operating efficiency while optimizing emissions.

In particular, each vehicle leaving the Hung Yen factory will be the product of a “responsible” production process, meeting global ESG standards – from raw materials to processes, from working environment to final products.

Putting Vietnam on the global green industry map

Omoda & Jaecoo's production complex not only serves the domestic market but also aims to export to countries in the ASEAN region and internationally. With an initial designed capacity of 120,000 vehicles/year on an area of over 38 hectares, this will be one of the largest automobile manufacturing complexes in the North.

More importantly, the factory will create thousands of jobs for local workers, promote supporting industries, and turn Vietnam into a green car manufacturing base in the region – contributing to the economic restructuring towards modernity and sustainability.
