On September 17, NJoin - the event organizer and ticket seller for the Gemini Fourth concert in Vietnam caused outrage when it "forgot" the Hoang Sa - Truong Sa archipelago and Phu Quoc island when posting a map of Vietnam, along with a ticket sales link.
The contractor's behavior was criticized by viewers for disrespecting Vietnam. The post was deleted immediately after netizens discovered the mistake, but the contractor still posted an article calling for ticket purchases.

“If you are making money in Vietnam but don’t know how to respect their country, what are you doing as a contractor?”, “The entire company is unprofessional”, “Posting without censorship shows weakness in the organization”… are some of the comments left.
An hour after the incident, the company posted an apology on its fanpage but continued to receive “angry” reactions from the online community. The audience thought the company’s apology was vague and insincere.
The organizers later posted an apology, stating that they had immediately deleted the post and reviewed their shortcomings. However, because the staff was still young, the apology was rushed and did not fully convey the sincerity.
“On behalf of the entire team, the NJoin leadership would like to send everyone our most sincere and deepest apologies. We understand that protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands is the responsibility of every Vietnamese citizen and posting an article with a map missing the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos is an unacceptable mistake.
We would like to admit our mistake and clearly affirm our position: 'Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos belong to Vietnam and are inviolable'.
This unit said the incident was a valuable lesson for them to carefully review the content and at the same time, discipline their staff to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
Vietnamese audiences continue to request the organizer to send an apology in English so that international audiences can understand. Previously, this fanpage only posted content in English.
Gemini Fourth run the world concert in Vietnam is scheduled to be held at Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City on October 19. This event is part of the Asian tour of Lan Gemini (Norawit Titicharoenrak) and Fourth (Nattawat Jirochtikul) - two Thai BL actors who gained attention after the school drama series My School President aired in 2022.
