During the holidays, the roads leading to Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province are bustling with cars transporting tourists . The largest number of tourists are from Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Highlands, South Central, and Southeast provinces coming to Nha Trang to have fun and relax.
Coastal roads such as Pham Van Dong, Tran Phu... are sometimes congested due to the large number of tourist vehicles. On this occasion, there are also many people making pilgrimages to the Ponagar Tower Festival, which is taking place in Vinh Phuoc Ward, Nha Trang City.
At the Ponagar Tower relic site this morning (April 28), thousands of tourists and Cham people came to make a pilgrimage. The Organizing Committee of the Ponagar Tower Festival set up many tents and stalls in the tower yard, providing drinking water for people to practice their folk beliefs. The large number of visitors but good coordination helped the festival activities take place in an orderly and safe manner.
Mr. Tu Cong Tuan from Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province, along with many others who attended the festival, said: "My family went in total with 12 people, both to pay respect and to have a chance to go out on April 30 and May 1. The atmosphere was very bustling and joyful. I pray that this year will have favorable weather, better business, and a stable life for our people."
Meanwhile, the hot weather has attracted tens of thousands of visitors to Nha Trang Bay and Nha Phu Lagoon. This morning, Nha Trang tourist wharf had more than 230 vehicles departing, taking nearly 6,000 tourists to visit the islands in Nha Trang Bay, an increase of 30% compared to normal days. Forces such as the wharf management board, inland waterway port authority, border guards, traffic police... have increased inspection and control to ensure safety.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thai, Nha Trang Tourist Wharf said: "When a ship leaves the port, all vehicles must first wear full life jackets. Check the departure order, the list is correct or not, do not overload. The traffic flow ensures that the ship can pick up passengers safely. Coordinate with Vinh Truong Ward People's Committee, during the holidays, when there are many passengers, let fishing boats anchor in the outer waters, so that wooden boats and canoes can dock, pick up and drop off passengers safely."
In particular, with the permission of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, high-altitude fireworks will be launched on Hon Tre Island on the nights of April 30 and May 1. In addition, shows by the Do Theater in Bai Tien area, Hon Tam tourist area, Hoa Lan Island tourist area... are always ready to serve tourists.
Coming to Khanh Hoa during this holiday, visitors will enjoy the vibrant festival atmosphere. The most prominent is the International Jazz Festival at April 2 Square, held continuously for 5 nights from April 27 to May 1, with the participation of many famous singers and artists at home and abroad such as Jazz legend Chico Freeman and bands from the US, famous domestic singers and artists such as: Tran Manh Tuan, Thu Minh, Tung Duong, My Linh ...
