Musician Truong Hoang Xuan
Musician Truong Hoang Xuan was born in 1939 in Saigon. After a period of treatment for old age, he passed away on May 3, at the age of 86.
The musician studied music at a young age in church and played the piano for a living in restaurants at the age of 16. In 1960, he graduated from Pedagogy and taught in Long Khanh, Dong Nai. He taught music at Nguyen An Ninh High School, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
After many job transfers, the musician returned to build the art movement for the Ho Chi Minh City Post Office until his retirement in 2000.
According to music researchers, musician Truong Hoang Xuan did not compose many songs, of which the song "White Silver, Pink Fire" was widely popular and most loved by the audience.

Besides the song "White Silver, Pink Fire", there are also the songs "Monstrous Days", "Tearing Love Letters", "Dream Realm"... The first song that musician Truong Hoang Xuan composed under the name Thy Linh, released was the song "Trai thoi loi" in 1965.

Talented and living in poverty, musician Truong Hoang Xuan's life encountered many difficulties. In his last years, he lived in illness, supported by friends and colleagues. People's Artist Kim Cuong organized the program Tri Am Artist for 10 years, always giving him a gift.
His passing left much grief for the audience who loved the song "White Silver, Pink Fire".
