According to Mr. Lo Van Mung - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province, in the past time, the Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations in the province continued to carry out emulation movements associated with socio -economic development tasks, actively implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", actively mobilizing people to participate in building new rural areas. Typically, the Fatherland Front of Muong Lay town has propagated and mobilized people to contribute 2,540 working days, collected more than 47 tons of waste, and dredged 24,580m of drainage ditches. In Tuan Giao district, the Fatherland Front of the district has coordinated to mobilize people to donate 24,220m2 of land to build cultural houses, concrete roads, contribute money and working days to level the ground of the village cultural house, build models, solar lamps for lighting, working days to build Great Unity houses for poor households.
In Muong Ang district, in order for the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" to bring about practical results, every year, the Standing Committee of the District Fatherland Front Committee has directed the Fatherland Front at all levels to advise local Party committees and authorities to strengthen direction and guidance for implementation, develop programs and action plans for each quarter and each year, and promptly encourage and reward individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in building cultural families, cultural residential areas, and building the great national unity bloc. Along with that, promote propaganda about the meaning, goals, and content of the campaign to raise awareness, create consensus among the people, so that people respond and participate in implementation.
The construction of new rural areas in Dien Bien also has the cooperation of member organizations actively participating in the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas through practical activities. Typically, the Provincial Veterans Association has directed all levels of the Association to build production and business models for veterans. Up to now, 100% of districts, towns and cities have economic models, with many new examples in production and business with high economic efficiency. The Provincial Women's Union has organized 3 training conferences on building new rural models, classifying waste at source and treating organic waste, organizing training on circular economic models in 5 communes for 250 delegates who are village leaders, members, and women representing households, organizing inspections and monitoring of models on how to use products to deodorize and treat organic waste into fertilizer for crops...
