Employee sues company over noose

The noose was evidence in the lawsuit.

WLNS recently quoted an attorney for one of the plaintiffs as saying that company managers brought nooses into meetings with black employees. Those who spoke up were later fired.

Plaintiffs also allege that company leadership directed managers to remove black employees who complained about racial discrimination, while favoring quick promotions for relatives.

PulteGroup issued a statement saying the company's leadership is committed to ensuring a work environment where everyone is respected, stressing the allegations are inconsistent with the company's values and culture.
