The funeral is scheduled to take place at 3:00 p.m. on May 25 in his hometown in Quang Ngai province. During the two days of national mourning, public entertainment activities are required to be limited or stopped in accordance with the spirit of commemoration.
A series of entertainment programs have officially announced changes to their plans. Specifically, the music night "The Country is Full of Joy" by three artists Dang Duong - Trong Tan - Viet Hoan, scheduled to be held on the evening of May 24 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi), has been postponed to May 31.
The event Soobin Live Concert: All-Rounder - the first solo concert in the career of singer Soobin Hoang Son - has been postponed by the Organizing Committee from the two nights of May 24 and 25 to May 26 and 27. On the official website, the crew shared: "After discussing with related units, we decided to postpone the date to ensure the program is fully organized, while showing respect for the country's national mourning period. Similarly, the concert documentary “Fire Rain”, which chronicles the journey of artists in the reality TV show “Brother Overcoming Thousands of Difficulties”, has also announced the postponement of its premiere and audience interaction tour scheduled to take place during these two days. The production unit said the activities will be rescheduled to a more suitable time.
The film "Trang Quynh nhi: The Legend of Kim Nguu" has canceled its premiere in Hanoi on May 24. The film's media representative apologized to the audience and promised to update the new release date as soon as possible.
The debut event of the BOF band - including artists Jun Pham, BB Tran, ST Son Thach and Bui Cong Nam - was also postponed. This is a band that came out of the competition "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", expected to create a new push in the Vietnamese idol market. However, the organizer shared that postponing the showcase was a necessary action to show respect for the general situation of the country.
