On the morning of September 27, information from the leaders of the People's Committee of Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district, heavy rain and high water levels on the night of September 26 caused flooding in more than 50 households in Ke Khoang village. The flooding was severe, with many households completely submerged up to the roof.

Because the rain was so heavy and the water rose so quickly, the government and forces could only evacuate about 120 people to higher ground, not having time to rescue people's property and assets.

By this morning, the water level had receded, but the flooding was still severe. More than 20 families whose houses were flooded are currently being arranged by the government to stay at other households in the surrounding villages.

By the morning of September 27, the commune People's Committee was dispatching people to assist people whose houses were flooded and other affected households to stabilize their lives. A group of people were cleaning up the commune committee headquarters to continue operations.
There are currently no statistics on property damage caused by severe flooding. Authorities have not yet reached all flooded areas, especially Ke Khoang village.
