On May 20, the Southern Working Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union coordinated with the Binh Phuoc Provincial Women's Union to organize a series of communication activities to raise awareness of domestic violence prevention and support social security for disadvantaged ethnic minority women and children in the province.
Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Ton Ngoc Hanh presents gifts and scholarships to students in difficult circumstances who strive to excel in their studies.
The program was attended by a large number of women's union members, residents, and students of Loc Phu Primary and Secondary School. Program participants were educated on gender equality and prevention of domestic and school violence through mock trials and other visual forms.

The program also supported 23 ethnic minority women with loans of VND10 million/household; gave 100 free vocational training courses; and donated family medicine boxes to 100% of poor and near-poor households in the locality.

The program also organized a fun reading and film festival for children, donated books and stories to more than 300 students and school libraries; presented 100 gifts and 20 scholarships to disadvantaged students; organized a "0 VND - Giving Love" booth... the total cost of the program was more than 2.7 billion VND.
On this occasion, Loc Phu commune (Loc Ninh district) established the Change Leaders Club at Loc Phu Secondary School; launched 5 community media teams.
