"Before the storm hit, the hotel had 300 rooms booked. On July 22, all of them were relocated. For rooms booked on July 23 after the storm hit, if any guests want to change, they will still be supported," said a hotel representative.
In Ninh Binh , on the morning of July 22, a representative of Trang An Golf & Resort said that the golf course and accommodation area including hotels, bungalows, and camping areas have been closed since noon on July 21, 100% refunds for golf and accommodation bookings, and proactively notified agents about the cancellation.
At noon on July 22, Trang An Golf Course area still had heavy rain and strong winds, so the location has no plan on when to reopen services.
On some Northern travel forums, many tourists continuously ask about the weather, mostly focusing on famous resorts such as Sam Son (Thanh Hoa) or Ha Long (Quang Ninh).

Some hotels in Sam Son, Thanh Hoa, such as Chau Long - FLC Sam Son, Vu Phong Prime, Gold Hotel Sam Son, Hang Nga, Long Thanh all announced that they have policies to support free cancellation and change of date.
On the Sam Son tourism forum, local tourism workers said that by noon on July 22, it was raining heavily, restaurants were closed and advised tourists to postpone their trip for a few days. "The sea water is murky, the rain is still heavy and the wind is strong, we should wait until at least the weekend to go to Sam Son," said Hung Anh.
At a hotel in Hai Tien beach (Thanh Hoa), about 20 tourists are still staying as planned until July 23. This group has been taken to a safe area and advised not to go out when there are big waves or heavy rain.
Normally, guests will be refunded if they cancel their reservation within the specified time, such as 24 or 48 hours before check-in or due to force majeure such as natural disasters, epidemics, or when the hotel fails to provide the service as committed.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 11:00 a.m. on July 22, the center of storm Wipha was located on the mainland of Hung Yen - Ninh Binh provinces, the strongest wind near the center reached 74 km/h (level 8), gusting to level 10 and continuing to move in a west-southwest direction. It is forecasted that during the day and tonight, the storm will move down to Thanh Hoa area and then weaken into a low pressure area over Upper Laos.
From now until tomorrow, heavy rain will be concentrated in the southern part of the Northern Delta, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An. The remaining areas in the North and Ha Tinh will have rain from 20 to 50 mm, with some places receiving over 100 mm.
