Kia ranked 3rd thanks to the stable performance of the urban SUV duo Kia Sonet and Seltos, which contributed significantly to the sales of nearly 3,800 Kia vehicles in September 2023. Only less than 200 vehicles behind Kia, Mazda continued to rank 4th with 3,610 vehicles sold, of which Mazda CX-5 contributed the most with more than 2,000 vehicles, while continuing to hold the leading position in the Top 10 best-selling cars in Vietnam in September 2023. This is also the only model in the Vietnamese car market that sold more than 2,000 vehicles last month. The timely improvements and quite competitive pricing strategy launched by THACO have helped CX-5 attract car consumers.
The following positions did not change compared to the previous month, still belonging to Ford (3,118 cars sold) and two Japanese car brands, Mitsubishi (2,863 cars) and Honda (2,554 cars). Meanwhile, at the bottom of the list of 10 best-selling car brands in Vietnam, the absence of VinFast allowed Isuzu to "squeeze" into this list with 678 cars sold, 9 cars lower than the previous month.
