Book your hotel in advance to get a good spot to watch the parade.
Nguyen Thi Hien (25 years old), Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province still has not forgotten the feeling of regret when she missed the parade in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30 because she could not book a room because it was too close to the date. Determined not to repeat this regret, Hien started planning early for her trip to Hanoi .

“I have consulted many applications to book a room and finally chose a hotel in Doi Can Ward, Ba Dinh District. This location is convenient for watching the parade and exploring the capital. I am very excited because this is the first time I have witnessed this event live. I hope to have unforgettable memories,” Hien shared. She also said that she had prepared carefully from booking plane tickets to scheduling visits to famous landmarks in Hanoi to fully enjoy the trip.

Equally excited, Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, spent nearly 6 million VND to book a room for 2 nights at a hotel at 1A Nguyen Tri Phuong, Quan Thanh, Ba Dinh District.
Duong shared the reason for booking a room nearly 4 months in advance: “I wanted to make sure I had a place to stay in a nice location, close to the parade area for easy travel. Moreover, booking early also helps avoid the situation of no rooms available, especially during big holidays. My mother and I have planned for a long time to enjoy the holiday atmosphere in the capital together. If I could see the parade with my own eyes, it would be a special experience, both proud and emotional.”
Prepare carefully in every aspect to have a perfect trip.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Chi Thong (27 years old), working at 590 Provincial Road 10, Binh Tri Dong, Binh Tan District (HCMC), sees the trip to Hanoi on the occasion of September 2nd this year as an opportunity to feel more deeply about history and national pride.
“I booked a room 4 months before September 2 at a hotel near the center of Hanoi to conveniently watch the event. Watching the parade on such an important occasion is an opportunity for me to learn more about the history of the nation. I really look forward to immersing myself in the vibrant and solemn atmosphere in the capital,” Thong expressed.

Checking on a booking app, many centrally located hotels show "no rooms available" from August 31 to September 3.
Nguyen Thang (29 years old), an airline ticket agent and hotel booking intermediary at 28 Tran Phu, Thanh My Town, Don Duong District, Lam Dong Province, said that currently all hotels will have listed prices, prices during the week, weekends and holidays, and prices also vary by room class. Booking tickets early before an event, specifically the September 2nd holiday in Hanoi, is mainly to get a good location and avoid the situation of "no rooms available". In fact, currently, some hotels with a nice "view" near President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Hanoi Old Quarter... have announced that they are fully booked from today.
Thang recommends booking rooms and flights early to secure accommodation and save money, especially during peak times such as National Day. Online booking applications are useful tools that help people easily compare prices, amenities and hotel locations. In addition, planning a detailed travel and sightseeing schedule also helps make the trip more complete.
Le Dinh Vu Sao (24 years old), working at Nhat Duong Investment, Trade and Service Joint Stock Company, specializing in providing airline and hotel booking services... said: "Booking tickets in advance will have reasonable prices, the closer to the date, the more likely the room price will be pushed up, especially during peak seasons or big events. Booking early helps guests have more choices of beautiful rooms, close to the event location, avoiding the situation of "no rooms available". It is possible to schedule travel and rest more reasonably if you know for sure where to stay. Booking a room early creates a sense of peace of mind, avoiding last-minute stress".
