Writer Vu Dinh Giang won fourth prize in the 2nd Young Writers' Literary Competition (2000) with his short story collection "Standing Place" . "Parallel" tells the story of young people trapped by past wounds and their own loneliness. Major Books praised Vu Dinh Giang's "rich imagination and unique style," which created a "refined work," calling it "a hidden gem of contemporary Vietnamese literature." Anton Hur, a renowned Korean translator with many works nominated for the International Booker Prize, commented: " Parallel is a novel with the color of a Wong Kar-wai film."

As the opening act for the Southeast Asian Literature Translation Project, signed by many ASEAN countries with Li Jiang Publishing House (Guangxi Province, China) at the 31st Beijing International Book Fair last June, Chibooks announced its selection to introduce the novel "The Distorted World" by writer Trinh Bich Ngan. According to the plan, the translation is expected to be completed in June 2026 by Chinese experts and will be promoted in the Chinese market shortly thereafter. The work revolves around the inner world of a war veteran returning to normal life. Ms. Nguyen Le Chi, Director of Chibooks, stated that this is the first step in the project to introduce Vietnamese literature to this market and that she is "very honored and proud to have contributed a small part in bringing Vietnamese literature to the world after many years of effort."

Having been released long ago, The Gioi Publishing House and Bookworm Hanoi have recently reissued two books by author Ho Anh Thai: Behind the Red Mist and The Women on the Island .
