Many practical tasks from implementing special emulation movements

Responding to the special emulation movement, the Women's Union of Vinh Loc town launched a waste classification and treatment model.

On weekends, most of the women's associations of communes and towns in the district - women members proactively clean the environment, plant trees, trim green hedges; 100% of the association's bases continue to register with local Party committees and authorities to undertake the cleaning of residential areas, organize cleaning of village roads and alleys; put up signs of "Clean House, Beautiful Garden" models, plant 3.5km of "Green Fence", "Women's Flower Road"... These activities have been contributing to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

Along with that, at some branches, women bring scrap to the cultural house for the branch to collect and sell, raise funds to give to poor members, orphans in difficult circumstances on every holiday, New Year, new school year, when there are sudden difficulties... Collecting scrap to raise funds has been carried out since 2021, in 2024 alone, the whole district collected more than 201 million VND from scrap collection and gave meaningful gifts... From the beginning of 2025 to now, the branches have continued to maintain regularly; there are 5 models of "Turning trash into money" in Vinh Hoa, Vinh Tien, Vinh Hung communes, Vinh Loc town that are promoting effectiveness. 6 projects/tasks of the association have been and are being implemented, including: mobilizing and supporting the construction/repair of 1 "Shelter of love" for members in difficult circumstances; each association base establishes at least 1 model to attract women on cyberspace to participate in activities and interact on social networks; 481 signs were posted on the models "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans", "Clean house, beautiful garden", "Clean house, model garden", "Mural road"; "Women's flower road", "Green fence"...

Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Vinh Loc district Le Thi Tam said: "In order for the special emulation campaign to achieve the set targets, the Women's Union of the district directed to promote propaganda to each member, women actively responded by registering and implementing the contents and standards of the movement; have many creative and quick actions to achieve the best results. During the implementation process, the Women's Union of the district organized inspections of the implementation of the emulation campaign contents in a number of communes. Thereby urging and reminding units to effectively implement the registered emulation contents, orienting, so that each individual and unit can carry out the emulation to bring about practical results".

Continuing to promote the motto of "Knowing faces, knowing circumstances, knowing aspirations" implemented by the District Women's Union since 2020 and the goal of "Strongly focusing on the grassroots" to bring "practical, personal" effects to female members; at the same time maintaining, building and effectively operating existing models/projects, the Women's Union at all levels of Vinh Loc district has concretized the implementation of each project and task and achieved some encouraging results. The unions at all levels have admitted 22 new members, introduced 4 outstanding members to the Party for consideration; mobilized members and women to support 1 poor family to repair the "Warm House of Love" house. The plan in May 2025, the District Women's Union will present 3 "Happy Cows" worth 56 million VND to 3 poor families in the district, helping households have conditions for production and stabilize their lives; Established 3 models to attract women on cyberspace to participate in activities and interact on social networks in the communes of Vinh Tien, Vinh Long, Vinh Hung; expanded the model of raising plastic pigs to save money in Vinh Yen and Ninh Khang communes, bringing the total number of savings models in the district to 39.

For the project to implement the movement "From collecting scrap to millions of gifts" to effectively implement the program "Millions of gifts to share love", since the beginning of the year, 5 more models of "Turning trash into money" have been launched in Vinh Hoa, Vinh Tien, Vinh Hung communes, Vinh Loc town with the amount of money collected 45 million VND and 255 gifts were given to members, women and children in difficult circumstances. Up to now, the whole district has had 65 models of "Turning trash into money" earning nearly 400 million VND.

For the 2 projects, the part of supporting women in economic development, up to now, the District Women's Union is implementing a plan to establish a "Women's Economic Development" club; contributing more than 20 billion VND to establish "red books in hand" to help members borrow capital and develop production (each book is 10 to 15 million VND). The Union also coordinates with the District Social Policy Bank Branch to lend capital to members to invest in production and business, with a total outstanding loan of nearly 200 billion VND; guaranteeing with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development for 251 households to borrow over 35 billion VND; supporting members and women to participate in the "Startup Ideas and Products" contest in 2025 organized by the Provincial Women's Union and having the product "Do Quan Peanut and Sesame Salt" by Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien in Vinh Quang commune win the promising prize...

The special competition in Vinh Loc district is being actively responded to by cadres, members and women in the whole district, strongly affecting the activities of the association, making the association's key work programs increasingly go into depth and closely linked to the lives of members.
