On the afternoon of May 15, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , answering reporters' questions regarding the situation of Vietnam-US trade negotiations, Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said: "Vietnam has been proactively and actively promoting sustainable and balanced trade and investment cooperation with the US in the spirit of efficiency, frankness, constructiveness, equality, mutual respect and bringing beneficial results to both sides.

Negotiations between Vietnam and the United States on the US's reciprocal tax policy on Vietnamese exports are underway and specific information will be provided later"./.
