Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1556/QD-UBND dated May 22, 2025 on approving the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan of Ha Long Industrial Park, Ha Trung district.
Accordingly, the planning scope belongs to the administrative boundaries of Ha Long town, Ha Trung district and Bac Son ward, Bim Son town.
Specific boundaries: North borders Bim Son cement clay mine area; South borders park land, public land and workers' housing according to planning; East borders Bim Son Industrial Park A area and North-South railway; West borders North-South expressway.
The planning research area is about 612.68 hectares, of which the land area for industrial park planning is about 544.55 hectares; the land area outside the industrial park is about 68.13 hectares.
The objective of the project is to form an industrial park with synchronous technical infrastructure, contributing to the socio -economic development of Ha Trung district, Bim Son town in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general; as a basis for managing construction investment according to approved planning. Arrange suitable industrial types, in harmony with the overall architecture, ensuring requirements on fire prevention and fighting, reasonable land use, environmental protection, ensuring sustainable development.
In terms of nature and function, Ha Long Industrial Park is a multi-industry industrial park, prioritizing electronic industry, precision and super precision mechanical product assembly industry, using high technology, ensuring the environment with a workforce of about 21,300 people.
Regarding land use structure, the total area of planned industrial park land is about 544.55 ha; of which land for factory and enterprise construction accounts for 69.7%; land for service works and public utilities accounts for 2.1%; land for technical infrastructure works accounts for 2.64%; land for trees accounts for 11.43% and land for traffic accounts for 14.12%. Land outside the industrial park has an area of about 68.13 ha.
Regarding spatial organization, Ha Long Industrial Park has a planning area of about 544.55 hectares, divided into 2 sub-areas: Area A has an area of about 283.39 hectares, located south of the main East-West axis (C-C4 road connecting the North-South expressway overpass); Area B has an area of about 261.16 hectares, located north of the main East-West axis (C-C4 road connecting the North-South expressway overpass).
When implementing the technical infrastructure investment project of the industrial park, it is necessary to simultaneously implement the resettlement area project. Ensure the completion of the construction of the resettlement area before moving households. It is expected to arrange 3 resettlement areas to serve the land clearance of the project implementation area.
