A high-ranking delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party led by Lao Vice President Pany Yathotou visited former President Tran Duc Luong.

From early morning, delegations of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, along with a large number of officers, party members and people from all walks of life were present at the Funeral House to attend the funeral of former President Tran Duc Luong; expressing gratitude, respect and condolences to the leader who devoted his entire life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, at exactly 7 o'clock, the funeral of former President Tran Duc Luong was solemnly held with the sad music "Soul of the Dead Soldier" in the background.

The memorial service for comrade Tran Duc Luong will be solemnly held at 7:00 a.m. on May 25, 2025 at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi. The burial ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. the same day at his hometown cemetery, Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province.
