State Bank of Vietnam Region 4 meets to celebrate 74th anniversary of Vietnam Bank's establishment

Attending the meeting were former Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam in Vinh Phuc, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai and Ha Giang provinces; former Directors and Deputy Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam in Phu Tho province; former Directors and Deputy Directors of State Commercial Banks, Social Policy Bank, and Cooperative Bank in Phu Tho province; Board of Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 4 Branch; Heads, Deputy Heads of Departments and equivalents of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 4, Phu Tho province headquarters.

A special highlight of the meeting was the impressive performances. Retired officers of Viet Tri Regional Bank brought touching performances, recreating memorable memories throughout the process of building and developing the banking industry. In addition, the Youth Union of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 4 contributed to livening up the atmosphere of the meeting with modern dance performances, songs praising the Fatherland and the banking industry, creating an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and pride.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Truong Thu Hoa - Acting Director of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 4 sent his best wishes to all retired cadres in the region, and reviewed the valuable traditions in the process of building and developing the banking industry. Within the framework of the meeting, the leaders of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 4 reported on the results of the banking industry in the region in general, as well as the State Bank of Vietnam Region 4 in particular, which have been achieved since implementing the new organizational model.

SBV Region 4 not only plays an important role in state management of currency, banking and foreign exchange activities in the area, but also acts as a bridge between banks and businesses, promoting local economic development in the provinces: Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai and Ha Giang. He shared about the development orientations of the banking industry in the coming time, with the goal of continuing to increase safe credit growth, promoting digital transformation, developing modern financial products, and providing maximum support for businesses and people in accessing credit capital.

Currently, the work of streamlining the State Bank's organizational structure according to the regional model has been implemented and is operating stably to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the State Bank's management and operation in accordance with the Party's policies and the direction of the State Bank of Vietnam.

The meeting to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the Bank of Vietnam at the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 4 branch, is not only an opportunity to express gratitude for the contributions of generations of bank staff, but also an opportunity for the entire banking industry to look back on the past and move towards new successes.

The Director believes that with the attention of former leaders and retired cadres, and the solidarity and sense of responsibility of each cadre and civil servant, the State Bank of Region 4 will continue to promote its glorious tradition, follow in the footsteps of previous generations, successfully complete its assigned tasks, contribute to the successful implementation of the sector's tasks and socio-economic development in the region.
