Consumer demand and shopping on National Day holiday increase

On this occasion, the Co.opmart supermarket system in Dong Nai, including Co.opmart Bien Hoa, Co.opmart Dong Xoai and Co.opmart Dong Phu, launched a consumer stimulus program called “Proud of Vietnamese Supermarkets”. This program focuses on discounts of up to 50% on high-quality Vietnamese products in 5 product categories: household appliances, cosmetics, apparel, processed foods, fresh foods, etc. to attract consumers.

Head of Marketing Department of Co.opmart Dong Xoai Supermarket ( Binh Phuoc Ward) Do Doan Thanh said: During the past 4 days of the holiday, the number of customers coming to shop at the supermarket increased by about 40% compared to a normal weekend and increased by 6% compared to the same period. On average, the supermarket welcomed about 3,000-3,200 customers per day of the holiday.

Director of Lotte Mart Dong Nai (Long Binh Ward) Le Duc Thuan said: On the occasion of the September 2nd holiday, the unit has implemented many promotional programs, stimulating demand for Vietnamese goods with a variety of products. The number of customers coming to shop increased by about 70% compared to normal weekends and increased by about 50% compared to the same period last year. On average, each holiday day, the supermarket welcomes about 5,000 customers coming to shop.

Similarly, Director of Go! Dong Nai Supermarket (in Long Hung Ward) Le Van Hong shared: This year, the National Day holiday is quite long and falls on the weekend, so people's shopping needs have increased. The number of customers coming to the supermarket to shop has doubled compared to a normal weekend and increased by about 10% compared to the same period last year.

In addition to retail activities, many commercial and consumer service sectors have also attracted a large number of tourists to visit, play and entertain... In particular, on the occasion of the September 2nd holiday this year, the banking sector in Dong Nai province has proactively performed well the banking services during the holiday and coordinated with the State Treasury to promptly meet the cash needs of local authorities, especially in mountainous, rural and remote areas of the province, to spend the Government 's Independence Day gifts on the people.

According to Agribank Dong Nai branch, during the recent holiday, the branches under the unit arranged staff to work through the holiday to proactively coordinate and be ready to support communes and wards in guiding people to open bank accounts and install VNeID as well as providing enough cash with appropriate denominations to the State Treasury to ensure timely sending of Independence Day gifts to people on the occasion of National Day September 2.
