In just about 2 weeks, the Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament will officially begin. This is the time for participating teams to quickly complete their documents for the Organizing Committee to check and review. The following are important notes that teams need to pay attention to when preparing documents.
The tournament is open to children from grades 1 to 4, specifically: U8 are children currently in grades 1 and 2 born in 2015 and 2016. U10 are children currently in grades 3 and 4 born in 2013 and 2014.
Participating athletes must be in good health and have a health certificate (not more than 06 months old) confirming good health to participate.
Each athlete can only register to compete for 01 age group of 01 team in the Tournament. The athlete is included in the competition list by the team and is confirmed by the Tournament Organizing Committee as eligible to compete.
Teams with players found to have "cheated" their age will be disqualified from the tournament and results will be voided.
The Vice President of Thanh Hoa Football Federation said that the Organizing Committee will focus on checking athletes' records.
Regarding the file checking, Mr. Pham Cam Hung, Vice President and General Secretary of Thanh Hoa Football Federation said: “The file checking is extremely important. Security forces - PC03 Department of Provincial Police and officers and experts of the Department of Justice will accompany the Organizing Committee to verify the authenticity of each athlete's file. If there is any doubt, the Organizing Committee will go to the locality to verify the background of these athletes”.
Strict disciplinary action on records and personnel will certainly ensure honesty and objectivity during the tournament. Teams using ineligible athletes will be disqualified from the tournament. The results of teams that have competed with the offending team will be voided. Teams, coaches, and team leaders will receive disciplinary action from the Organizing Committee.
If there is a complaint about personnel, the teams must find evidence to prove it. And only the team leader and head coach have the right to complain in writing.
According to the latest announcement from the Organizing Committee, each district, town, and city is allowed to register 2 men's football teams representing each age group U8 and U10. Each team can register a maximum of 7 coaching staff members and 20 athletes, including at least 2 goalkeepers. Athletes must register and wear the correct shirt number during the tournament.
This year's registration file has more points to note than last season. Regarding the athlete's profile, you can use a CV with the athlete's photo, stamped and certified by the People's Committee of the commune, ward or town where you live or a Personal Identification Certificate with a photo, stamped and certified by the police of the commune, ward or town where you live.
During the registration process with the Tournament Organizing Committee, clubs and teams in districts, towns and cities that are implementing the Community Football Development Project for the period 2021-2025 can bring complete records of athletes and teams according to the Tournament Charter to Viet Hung Development Joint Stock Company for inspection, confirmation and signing of eligibility to participate in the tournament.
This year's Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament is scheduled to be held from July 1 to July 9, 2023 at the Thieu Hoa District Sports Gymnasium and Thieu Phu Commune Stadium. This year's tournament promises to be a larger-scale tournament and will be more tightly controlled at all stages.
