BHG - In 1992, after graduating from Thai Nguyen University of Education, I was accepted as a reporter for Ha Giang Newspaper. In 1994, as assigned by the Editorial Board, I transferred to the Secretariat - Publishing Department to work as a reader - collaborator (CTV). Later, I was also in charge of the newspaper's documentation and library work.
The specific job is to receive, enter news, articles, photos from contributors, and readers' feedback sent to the Editorial Office. I collect, classify, and then send them to the Secretariat - Publishing Department for editors to edit and select for publication in the issues. Citizen complaints and denunciations are sent to the Editorial Board so that the leaders can assign professional departments to discuss with the relevant authorities to review, process, and publish responses to citizens.

When the news, articles, and photos of contributors and readers are selected for publication, my next task is to send the newspaper to the authors; collect the list of contributors' royalties and transfer it to the accounting department for payment. In addition to contacting contributors and readers via letters and phone calls, I also directly meet and talk with contributors who come to the editorial office to submit articles or receive royalties. Because of that, there are hundreds of contributors who know my name, face, and are familiar with me.
In 2002, Ha Giang Newspaper established the Readers - Documents - Library Department, I transferred to the Readers, Library - Documents Department. My job is to be the "bridge" between the contributors and the newspaper's editorial office. For more than 30 years, I have received tens of thousands of news, articles, photos and feedback from contributors and readers sent to the editorial office. Although the number of news, articles and photos selected for publication only accounts for a few dozen percent, to me, all the contributors' works are very valuable, because they represent the efforts, dedication, care and love of contributors and readers for Ha Giang Newspaper. Perhaps that is why, for more than 30 years, despite the daily repetitive work, I have not felt bored or dull, but on the contrary, it has been a joy and a look forward to every day I go to work.
There is so much affection from contributors and readers for me through phone calls, messages of congratulations, visits on holidays, Tet, especially the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; or handshakes, friendly smiles when meeting. The affection of contributors is always a joy, an encouragement to help me overcome all difficulties in life. At the moment when the two provinces of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang "come home", Ha Giang Newspaper with Tuyen Quang Radio and Television Newspaper merged into one, I suddenly miss the years of attachment with readers and contributors of many generations of beloved Ha Giang Newspaper! For me, those will certainly be the most beautiful years of my journalistic career.
